Jim Smith is, hands down, the best agent to help you navigate a home purchase/sale this year (2021). He just helped me finish a 30 day close on the purchase of my new home for me and my partner. From the beginning Jim worked around the clock to help ensure I got into property’s within hours after they got posted. We found our perfect match and Jim went to bat for us in negations on the purchase price. He fought hard to get the best price on our forever home. If you live in Lake County and need to buy or sell a home, please consider Jim! He has got to be the most connected, hardest working and most caring agent around. Not to mention he has great referrals for lender and attorneys to help with everything else.

Jim has been such a great agent to work with. He has helped me sell my townhouse and helped my boyfriend and I purchase a new single family home together. He has been so fantastic every step of the way. My boyfriend unexpectedly lost his job when our house was first listed and Jim helped advise us how to proceed based on what was best for us and not him. When we re-listed our house almost a month later, Jim was still just as passionate about us getting what he thought we deserved for our townhouse. With the purchase of our new house, we went in with a low offer, against Jim’s advise, and he still fought tooth and nail for us to get the new house for a good, fair price. When a hiccup appeared two business days before closing and we were out of state, Jim handled the issue and had everything resolved by the end of the day. I would hire Jim again in a heartbeat and recommend him to everyone I know!

I highly recommend James D. Smith, he helped me purchase my first ever home using my GI Bill. He has an amazing program for first responders, veterans and active service members. James was truly amazing, he explained the process, streamlined the services and was very patient and understanding with my hectic schedule.
